Georgia was late in the race but that never put them out of the race as they battled Clemson and others for 3-star running back recruits Andrew Paul from Parish Episcopal School.
Paul had 24 Division I offers from power 5 schools from across the country, however Clemson and Michigan were some of the frontrunners in the race to land one of the top running backs in the 2022 class here in Texas.
January 23 Paul received an offer from head coach Kirby Smart and staff from Georgia and a few days later, Paul was on an official visit to the go visit the Bulldogs in Athens.
On February 1st, the day before National signing day Andrew release his top three which included Georgia, Clemson, and Michigan.

Paul has had an amazing high school career putting up some impressive numbers year in and year out and finishing his career with 4,242 yards rushing and 62 rushing touchdowns in his three years as a starter. As a runner, Paul checks all the boxes. He can run in between the tackles, break tackles in the open field, has dangerous lateral speed, and can stack multiple cuts on the same run into the endzone. Georgia is getting a real dog that can make the explosive plays happen anytime he touches the football.
